Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes in NY/TX
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems (ELD)
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely weekend deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR (3+ years driving experience)
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) with flexible scheduling
- Experience with multi-stop routes and time-sensitive deliveries
- Proficiency in ELD systems and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of NY/TX highway systems and weather conditions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
