Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) following DOT regulations
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes while maintaining strict delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Accurately maintain logs, paperwork, and delivery documentation using electronic systems
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Adapt to changing schedules and weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience (or recent CDL graduate)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb in/out of cab frequently
