Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers)
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Deliver freight to 8-12 locations daily with on-time delivery rates >98%
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and delivery manifests
- Provide exceptional customer service at all delivery points
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of North Carolina and Southeastern US routes
- HazMat endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
