Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes in Southern California
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize route efficiency and on-time delivery
- Load/unload cargo safely using proper equipment and techniques
- Represent Premier Logistics with professionalism while interfacing with clients
- Adapt to changing schedules and traffic conditions to maintain delivery timelines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekend shifts (Sat-Sun) with occasional weekday support
- Familiarity with Los Angeles metro area and surrounding regions
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
