Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on regional routes within Minneapolis and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) to ensure cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations and vehicle condition (DOT logs, delivery receipts).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
