Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on regional and over-the-road routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring product safety and proper handling.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company driving policies regarding hours of service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for at least 6 months.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
