Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for weekend-long haul routes across Texas and surrounding states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Manage delivery timelines while ensuring cargo integrity and security
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members throughout routes
- Maintain electronic logs and compliance records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday schedule)
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Texas roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Clean background check and satisfactory MVR
