Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Optimize routes for timely delivery of freight
- Complete accurate documentation (BOLs, logs, delivery confirmations)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent the company professionally at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles metropolitan area
- Pass DOT physical and background checks
- Weekend availability (Fri-Sun schedule)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and reliability
