Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD/DOT) and complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (required).
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate across state lines.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI in the last 7 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks required for loading.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and occasional overtime.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
