Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight across the designated route.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate logs (HOS) and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure zero accidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Experience with flatbed or tanker driving is a plus but not required.
