Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan optimal routes using GPS technology for on-time deliveries
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and inventory management
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record with zero preventable incidents
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR trucking experience
- DOT medical certification and clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Flexibility for weekend shifts and occasional overnight trips
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
