Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while prioritizing safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Load/unload cargo with appropriate equipment and securement methods
- Complete necessary documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
