Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for local weekend routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch team via ELD for real-time updates
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries across Puget Sound region
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial truck driving experience
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Seattle metro area navigation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Weekend availability essential (Friday-Sunday)
- Previous experience in regional logistics preferred
