Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS technology
- Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and bills of lading
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with hazmat tanker preferred
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
