Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on regional routes within the Bay Area and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using standard loading equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Uphold a professional image and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (Class B considered for local routes).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
