Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for weekend delivery routes across Georgia and Florida
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient load management
- Deliver freight to distribution centers and retail locations
- Handle basic cargo loading/unloading when required
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial trucking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible weekend hours
- Familiarity with Georgia-Florida corridor routes
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic GPS navigation and electronic logging system proficiency
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Must be 23+ years old
