Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) for weekend deliveries across San Diego County
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload freight efficiently with proper handling protocols
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate status updates
- Navigate urban and highway routes while prioritizing safety
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving)
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility to work Saturday/Sunday shifts (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Knowledge of San Diego metro area and surrounding regions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
