Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend delivery routes across Northern California
- Load/unload freight with precision and adhere to strict delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate trip logs and comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and timely deliveries
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- 2+ years of commercial driving experience in multi-stop delivery
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong knowledge of San Jose Bay Area traffic patterns and regulations
- Flexibility for weekend shifts (Sat-Sun) with occasional holiday availability
- DOT medical certification and TWIC card preferred
