Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage efficient delivery schedules while maintaining perfect on-time performance
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients throughout transit
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Represent Nashville Express Logistics with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Tennessee and Southeastern US routes
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Must pass comprehensive background check
