Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van and refrigerated) for regional and OTR routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Load/unload freight with precision and care to prevent damage
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication
- Complete all required paperwork and digital documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and surrounding regions
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
