Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods across designated routes in Los Angeles County
- Plan and execute efficient daily routes using GPS navigation systems while maintaining strict delivery timelines
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques and secure cargo according to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records, obtain customer signatures, and resolve delivery discrepancies
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle route-related inquiries
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and adapt to schedule changes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience with route/delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly and operate warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with Los Angeles traffic patterns and street navigation
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging and delivery documentation
- Drug-free certification and ability to pass background check
- Commercial vehicle insurance coverage
