Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks or straight trucks) following DOT regulations
- Load/unload merchandise efficiently using pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Plan optimal daily delivery routes using GPS technology
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for each shipment
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Proficiency with mobile technology (GPS, delivery apps)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
