Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles following DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan and optimize daily routes for maximum efficiency using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or higher
- Clean MVR with minimum 2 years driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with Jacksonville road network and delivery zones
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Pass background check and drug screening
