Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local and regional routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations
- Document and report maintenance issues or route hazards
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Louisiana roadways and regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- No DUIs or major moving violations in past 3 years
