Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods on established routes across Jacksonville and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and required paperwork
- Load/unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville area and surrounding counties
- DOT medical certification current
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic math skills for inventory management
