Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional routes within Pennsylvania and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate shipment status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning start times and occasional overnight trips
