Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A & B) to deliver freight across the Western United States.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing mechanisms.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and maintain all required documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, and delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of cargo handling, weight limits, and DOT regulations.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Reliable personal vehicle for commuting to the terminal.
