Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo accurately using proper safety procedures.
- Maintain daily logbooks and driver's daily inspection reports (DVIR).
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and delivery schedules.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and maintained in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (OTR, Local, or Regional).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic computer skills for logging and paperwork.
