Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per FMCSA regulations
- Optimize routes to ensure timely delivery while prioritizing safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all state and federal transportation laws and safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
