Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across Charlotte, NC and Florida routes
- Plan efficient routes and maintain delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and DOT-compliant logging
- Secure cargo and verify delivery documentation
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes or delays
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to FMCSA regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for loading/unloading efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb trailer decks
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Flexibility for early morning/late-night deliveries
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Regional or long-haul experience preferred
