Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) for regional routes across Indiana and Ohio
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Inspect vehicles before/during trips to ensure operational safety
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain cargo security
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery status and requirements
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of over-the-road trucking experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Indiana/Ohio roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight trips and variable schedules
- Excellent time management and communication skills
