Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for regional deliveries within the Boston metropolitan area
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Urgent response to time-sensitive delivery requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of recent commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Boston area traffic patterns and regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Flexibility for occasional weekend and overnight shifts
