Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers delivering freight to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Handle loading/unloading operations with proper equipment usage
- Document delivery confirmations and maintain shipment records
- Communicate effectively with clients and dispatch during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Hazmat regulations (preferred)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend shifts
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Dallas metro area residency preferred
