Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (flatbeds/reefers) for regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous trip documentation
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of diverse freight types
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and compliance records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work variable schedules
- Knowledge of NC/SC route networks and traffic patterns
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass physical examination requirements
