Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain customer service excellence
- Communicate effectively regarding delays, incidents, or route changes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
