Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage efficient delivery schedules and maintain accurate logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Optimize routes for fuel efficiency and timely deliveries
- Represent our company with professionalism in client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR and acceptable background check
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong knowledge of Houston metro area and Texas highways
- Hazmat certification preferred (training provided)
