Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Optimize routes for efficiency while ensuring cargo integrity
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain electronic logging compliance and mileage records
- Represent our company with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Ohio/Midwest highway systems
- Flexibility for irregular hours and overnight stays
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb equipment safely
