Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for long-haul deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs
- Inspect vehicles before/during trips to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with customers and team members professionally
- Maintain clean driving record and safety certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekends
- Excellent time management and communication skills
