Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for long-haul routes across the continental US
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate driving logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure mechanical safety and compliance
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient load delivery and scheduling
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization and timely deliveries
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license with minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong understanding of HOS regulations and electronic logging
- Flexibility for overnight travel and variable schedules
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside assistance coordination
