Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on long-haul routes between Washington DC and Georgia
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and service excellence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using ELD systems and route navigation technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and adapt to varying weather/road conditions
- Clean criminal background check and no major preventable accidents in past 3 years
