Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for regional routes within California and neighboring states
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate with dispatch team for route optimization and updates
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with precision
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California/North Carolina roadways
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules (early mornings/evenings)
- Basic familiarity with ELD systems and GPS navigation
