Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route changes
- Maintain electronic logging system (ELD) compliance
- Represent Swift Logistics professionally with customers and at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Oklahoma roadways and regional logistics
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route planning skills
