Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for local and regional routes
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Navigate complex urban and highway routes efficiently
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Handle time-sensitive deliveries with punctuality focus
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of California road regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Excellent time management and navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
