Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Ohio and surrounding states
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as per DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety standards
- Complete required training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- No prior trucking experience required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit for extended periods
- Willingness to obtain CDL-A (training provided)
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
