Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, securing loads properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients during deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding routes and delays.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B preferred (training available for qualified candidates).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
