Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across assigned routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes and manage delivery schedules for on-time performance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Ensure proper loading/unloading procedures to prevent cargo damage
Qualifications
- No commercial driving experience required - we provide full CDL training
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical exam and drug screening
- Basic math skills for route planning and delivery documentation
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
