Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Manage delivery documentation and ensure timely customer service
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route planning and delivery optimization
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures as required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) or ability to obtain through our paid training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn industry best practices
- Basic math skills for cargo documentation and weight calculations
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
