Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and clients for efficient loading/unloading
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries while maintaining on-schedule performance
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding route conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain through our program)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for electronic documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends
