Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Accurately log mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation
- Maintain constant communication with dispatch regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Manage delivery timelines while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL (or willingness to obtain through our sponsored program)
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for trip planning and documentation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Ability to sit for extended periods and climb into vehicle cabs
