Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for night-time deliveries and pickups
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates and delivery status
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries within Chicago metropolitan area
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass DOT physical and background check
- Familiarity with Chicago area routes and traffic patterns
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
